Here I have compiled a list of my client's most frequently asked questions, I hope that after reading through these you feel more at ease and ready to take the next step! However, know that I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have with a boudoir consultation call as well!

WHAT MAKES YOUR BOUDOIR SESSIONS "DIFFERENT"?
My approach and handling of your boudoir or empowerment session is a bit different from the traditional. While I do help guide, prompt, and pose you- (usually by demonstrating a pose that I think is perfect for you by showing you myself, we really do have fun) I don’t focus on trying to make you look a certain way or putting you in poses that aren’t YOU. I ease my clients into the process with music and a drink of their choice (I ask for your favorites!) and just treat you like a friend I’m hanging out with. Honestly, while I do want you to leave feeling sexy, my emphasis is more on empowerment. I focus on flattery, seeing you and discovering what works WITH you, having fun, and having a real human conversation and connection. I am intuitive, reflective, thoughtful, and a happiness magnet. I want you to see you the way I do. And yes, I will hear your grief. I will share your joys. I will gas you up and watch you fly!
WHAT IF I DON'T FEEL 'SEXY'?
Sexy is a word that is thrown around A LOT these days. Our idea of sexy has been refined through the years by mass media and marketing and a lot of people don't 'feel sexy' because they don't fit into the mould of what society says 'sexy' is. You know what we say? You ARE sexy because the sum of who you are makes you a beautiful person! Your personality, quirks and courage make you sexy. Done and done.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR?
Never fear, the Studio Closet is here! The Studio Closet is filled with a variety of outfits that you can use that will bring out your confidence!
WILL YOU RETOUCH OR EDIT THE IMAGES?
We don't do extensive retouching when editing your images. Trust us, you'll be able to recognize yourself in your photos. We only retouch images to enhance you and the overall image. Examples would be adding in some dramatic lighting, smoothing out some hair fly-away hairs, or removing a pesky eyelash that maybe fell out when you were blinking. It's the smallest touches you won't even notice.
WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?
Your images are yours and I will not show them to anyone or put them online unless I ask for permission and you grant it. Your privacy is of utmost importance to me.
WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! Sessions outside of Cache Valley are available however additional travel cost outside of 60-mile radius of zip code 83237 may apply unless photographer has specified otherwise.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS? WHEN IS MY TOTAL DUE?
Yes! Payment plans are available and can be customized person-by-person, on a case-by-case basis! Your full total is due by the end of your reveal and ordering appointment.
DO I NEED TO HAVE MY HAIR AND MAKEUP DONE?
Hair and makeup services ARE included in your session fee! Generally, hair and makeup is nice to have done so you feel extra confident. When your photo is taken, it can be easy to look more washed out than you do in real life. Because of this, it's nice to have your makeup done to really enhance your look so your features stand out on camera. While it is not a necessity to have your hair and makeup professionally done, we recommend taking the chance to be pampered by our HMUA.
DOES SHOOTING OUTDOORS OR NOT USING HMUA CHANGE THE PRICE OF THE SESSION FEE?
The session fee does not change regardless of location of shoot, or client not utilizing offered services. Outdoor sessions may require reservations or time spent scouting and artists may be paid a retaining fee, etc. thus we are also unable to transfer any cost of services not rendered to any other products or discounts.
CAN WE GO TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS?
To keep the flow of the session, unless otherwise specified, we stick to one location only.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
I edit anywhere from 75-100+ images for each session, depending on a number of factors. I will show you all of the final edited images at your separate session reveal and ordering appointment, from there it's up to you!
Some clients fall completely in love with their galleries and ultimately purchase them all or select a package that comes with them all, and others narrow it down to their favorite 30 or so. It is completely up to you how many images or products you purchase.
